It takes sixty years to produce a writer. Men die between sixty and seventy. Affluent people with peaceful setting live past ninety.
Offspring of writers mostly gravitate towards engineering, medical courses. They do not enter literary world. Monetary prospects are bleak. Writing will bring with it a life of misfortune. Most writers are attracted towards stages, tours and TV publicity. 25 percent writing and 75 percent publicity is the technique in use.
There is not a chance to maintain family without a monthly income of 50000 rupees in current situation. There are very few popular, familiar writers. Those with ancestral house, assets and land are welcome in literary world.
People surviving in literary world with a purpose to serve can create worthy material. They should have read at least 30000 books in their life. There is no writing without reading. Every writer has a chance to collect anywhere between 300 and 3000 books. Renowned writers will get many complimentary copies. Money would have to be spent out of pocket during initial days.
There are only a handful of writers who collect more than 10000 books. This collection turns useless after elderly, senile years. Kids and grandchildren seldom realize their importance. Entire collection is sold in kilograms to scrap shops. A lifetime’s collection is thrown away within minutes. Books collected by rich writers turn unnoticed, gather dust and feed moths. Family members don’t go near library room. It is locked down in the memory of father. No one knows its use.
When a writer passes away, the books he collected with keen eyes and hard efforts go to grave with him. People in literary world should consider this seriously.

Dead Hearts Will Get Life

Allah’s Zikr (remembrance) is a treasure. Allah is exalted. His remembrance is also exalted.
Surah Ankabut, 29, verse 45 – ‘wala zikrullahi akbar’. Allah’s remembrance is the greatest of all things. It is a gift to deserving people. Allah etches His Name in the hearts of chosen ones. Zikr is commanded. Surah Zariya, 51, verse 55 – ‘wazakkir fainnaz zikraa tanfaul mumineen’. Spread Allah’s remembrance, it is beneficial to believers. Hearts of men will quiver when Allah’s Might is explained. This will bring the light of Imaan (faith). Dead hearts will get fresh life. They will follow the commands. Surah Anfal, 8, verse 2 – ‘izaa zukirallahu vajilat kuloobuhum’. They will have tremor in their hearts. ‘wa izaa tuliyat alaihim aayaatuhu zaadathum imaana’. Their faith will increase when Allah’s verses are recited to them.
Idolaters came to Prophet (sal) and said that they have knowledge of the clan and history of what they worship. Explain us about clan and lineage of the God you preach. What is His beginning and end? Jibreel (alai) brought Wahi (revelation). ‘qulhuwallahu ahad’. ‘Allah is One’. He is alone from beginning to end. He is alone and He needs none. He needs no help. He has no clan or tribe. He has no need for support or partner.
He is the only One worthy of worship. He created everything. He is distinct in both these attributes. He created everyone including Jibreel (alai). Surah Hadeed, 57, verse 3 – ‘huwal awwalu wal akhiru wazzahiru wal baatinu’. There is no one before or after Him.
Purpose of life is to attain Maarifat, knowing Allah. How can we know Allah. Prophet (sal) told his companions. Keep yourself busy with God’s remembrance all the time. This will give Maarifat. God told to Moosa (alai). He will go to his community and inform them. Surah Taha, 20, verse 16 – ‘innani anallahu la ilaha illa anaa fahbuduni’. ‘I am Allah. Worship Me alone’. Servants of Allah should know Him and approach Him. This is God’s Wish.
Surah Mujadila, 58, verse 7 – ‘maa yakunu minnajwaa shalaashatin illaa huwa rabiuhum’. When three gather and talk a secret, Allah is fourth among them. Never think you are alone. Be it forest or hill or sea, wherever you find yourself in, Allah is with you. You cannot see Him with your eyes, but He is nevertheless present there. ‘laa tahzan innallaha ma’ana’. Prophet told Abubakr (rali) in Thaur cave. We are not two. We are three, Allah is with us. This is a small, narrow place. Two of us are here, but it is appearance. Surah Baqarah, 2, verse 115 – ‘walillahil mashriqu wal magribu fa aiyanamaa tuwallu fashamma wajhullahi’. East and west belongs to Allah. You will see Him wherever you turn. Allah’s help will come for those who have trust in Him. He will help like He feeds the birds. Birds leave their nests with empty stomachs, but when they return, they come with food for their offspring too.
Quality of Imaan is to feel happy when doing good and to feel aggrieved when a sin is committed. People with this quality are Believers. There are two types of knowledge. Knowledge that stays in tongue will lead you to ruin. Knowledge in the heart will guide you.

Circumstances Will Be Threatening

Two types of calls have always been given among human society.
One argument is that money, material, forms, gold and silver make everything happen.
Allah conducts everything. Power, capacity, wealth are immaterial. This is another call.
Prophets have declared that Allah operates everything. Efforts can be spent in two ways. One is to acquire material. Full world is busy worrying about price rises. Another kind of effort is to accept God and succeed in it.
Yusuf (alai) moved to a new nation and there he rose to a high status. He preached in prison. People coming to this mosque should listen to our message. This was the desire of Maulana Ilyaas (rah). Yusuf (alai) was a good Dayi (missionary). He was from the lineage of Prophets. But still he put his efforts for preaching. He put all his efforts in a different nation speaking different language. Surah Yusuf records the trials and tribulations that he went through, his perseverance and the success he attained.
Prophet Yusuf worked alone. He became minister and attained an important position in the administration. His family also joined him. But when their people deviated from Allah’s path, Allah thrust a brutal ruler on them. It is not enough to be descendants of Prophets. Imaan (faith) is necessary. Otherwise Firaun will emerge. Right is his who owns the stick. Allah’s method is to impose cruel ruler on iniquitous people. But a missionary worker can’t be killed even if a ruler wants. Moosa (alai) history is an example. Forms and appearances cultivate fear in men. Moosa (alai) prayed to Allah to send his brother Haroon for his assistance. Surah Taha, 20, verses 29, 30 – ‘wajalli vaziran min ahli haruna akhi’. Assist me with Haroon. Verse 45 – ‘innanaa nakhafu anyafruta alaina aw anyatga’. ‘We fear that Firaun will transgress’. Shaitan will threaten man with poverty and push him towards evil. Surah 2, Baqarah, verse 268 – ‘asshaitanu yaidukumul fakra wa yahmurukum bil fahshaa’. This income is not enough. He will urge to earn more and lure men towards bribe, robbery and usury. He will scare with inflation and scarcity. Allah has no difficulty in providing food, water, facilities or protection. Peace cannot be brought with human efforts.
Every man desires protection for his life, his belongings and his honor. Hindu, Muslim, everybody seeks these three securities. Human capability and techniques cannot guarantee them. Imaan (faith) is the solution. Money will be protected when Faith prevails. If Faith is lacking, humanity and good qualities will be thrown to the wind. Man works for facilities. Daily wager and entrepreneur seek alike. It is human nature to take fear from the form of opponent. Allah says not to fear. Verse 46 – ‘qaala laa takaafa innani ma’akuma’. Allah is with us. There is strength in His commands. Moosa (alai) delivered two messages to Firaun.
1. Release enslaved people. 2. Believe in God who is mightier than you.
Imaan will bring fraternal and peaceful situation. Good surrounding is needed for Imaan. 3 days, 10 days, 40 days should be spent away from business, house and relations.
Daawath ( missionary work) is to fight with situation. Money is needed to build mosque; money is needed for maintenance; build shops and earn from lease. Ibrahim, Ismail and Hajira put their hands together and built Allah’s House. They did not collect funds. Masjide Nabavi was built the same way without any fund collection. There was no big expenditure. Efforts from people are needed to build mosque. Ayisha (rali) had to borrow oil to light candle in Prophet’s house. This mosque did not have electricity for many years. People offering prayer will be sweating.

Let Us Purify Our Hearts

People are not ready to do anything. They don’t forfeit their aggression, rage, adamancy, anger, hatred or stinginess. Change is expected in life. I want to rise, my distresses should be over, I should be free from bodily and mental pains. But they are not ready to change even after coming to saints.
I want to see sunrise, but I will see towards west. It is impossible. There is defect in the system. We can’t stick to wrong ideas and expect to succeed. There is a particular mathematical formula to find surface area of a circle. Each problem has an associated formula. Only that formula will help. Every problem has a particular solution. Other solutions won’t fit. Change won’t come from reading holy books, having appetite for good books, going to training classes unless you have the will to change. Change should come from within.
Only then we can attain the success that we desire. What is stopping us? It is Maya (illusion). My heart is a big crowd. Forefathers lie in the heart. All creditors from the past are hidden there. They won’t leave unless we settle their loans.
Whom is our heart stuck with. Our success and failure depends on it. Maya that lies within us should be dispelled. Devils can stay in the heart as well as saints. Is devil having control over heart or godly people. If devil is having the control, bad qualities will not go away. Rage and aggression won’t subside. If saints are there, they will keep heart from getting corrupted. There will be clarity and glow in life. Some people host devil and saints in turns. Good things and bad things will happen alternatively for them. Good things will happen when saints influence. When Shaitan enters, decline will start. Growth will be stunted. There won’t be any continued improvement.
We have to be careful about who is influencing us. Bad activities will vanish if saints are appreciated and given the reign. All fundamental changes will start appearing when they dominate.
No person can operate his system entirely on his own. CDs and floppies have to be inserted for support. No one can claim that he is living entirely with his own intellect. We need the support of many saints. Expert help will be required. We have to earn their attention. Energy does not get destroyed. It is conserved. When a scientist dies, his body will decompose, but his genius will stay. Knowledge of an entrepreneur will not go away even after his death. It will float above the earth like songs floating on a disk. They will descend as ideas into the minds that need them. The ideas that we conceive are not our own ideas. We shouldn’t think like that. A speech does not belong solely to the speaker. Experts will help on the subject that we desire to dwell on. They will be invisible and helping. This is called ‘Asareeri’. It is talking without body. The ideas that they express without body are grasped by our bodies. If we grasp trivial things, then output also will be trivial.
If we keep seeking lofty people, then the ideas that we deliver also will be lofty. Maya will take us towards worse things. God will help for the dominance of saints. But you have to give space. Your approach should not be to open doors for beggars and shut them on near and dear ones.
We have been given the right. It is our decision whether to harbor Maya or to be hospitable to saints. It is our choice. Key is with us. We shall decide whom to let in. Saints will help if we strive for ascension.

Beloved Ones Will Be Admitted In The House

It is with abounding Grace that Allah’s servants can enter His House. I won’t admit those whom I dislike to enter my house. No one will invite someone they dislike. We will invite our intimate ones. ‘Won’t you come to my house?’. This is not said out of anger or contempt. This is said with love.
Surah Ala Imran, 3, verse 97 – ‘walillahi alannaasi hijjul bait’. It is duty of men to God. You owe me this. You are my beloved. Come to my house. Stay with me. Allah likes people to come to His House. It is our duty to visit the house of the One whom we worship. ‘manistata’a ilaihi sabeela’. ‘Those who have istataat, ability’. It is not binding on weak, poor or needy ones. It is duty for those with physical and material strength. Reality is that no one has any ability on his own. Hayat, ilm, irada, kudrat, basaarat, samaat, kalaam, these seven attributes have been given by God. We are not owners.
Without Allah’s help it is not possible to sleep, pray, fast or walk. We need His help even to die and even after death. Surah Hadeed, 57, verse 4 – ‘wahuva ma’akum ainamaa kuntum’. Allah is with you wherever you are. He is with you above the earth and under the earth. Once a person enters grave, angels will ask, ‘man rabbuka’. ‘Who is your Lord?’. Allah is the Lord on the earth as well as inside the grave. A person will succeed if he gives right answer. ‘man nabiyyuka’. ‘Who is your Prophet?’. Prophet is with you everywhere. Allah is with you in each Aalam, world. He is with you in Aalame Arwah, Aalame Barzak, Aalame Shahadat. Haj pilgrims should have this in mind. Allah invites you and travels with you. He is with you in airport and inside the airplane. ‘wahuva bikulli shaiyin muhit’. Allah encompasses everything. It is impossible to leave Allah. Nothing can exist outside Allah. Plane and passenger, both are under Allah’s dominion. Allah is present with every object.
‘Hij’, ‘Haj’ means Irada, intention. Intending is your job. Allah will make it happen. Don’t think in self-centered lines. I am performing Haj, I have become better. Don’t belittle others. Some people are small Firauns (Pharaoh) before going to Haj and become complete Firaun once they complete Haj. Firauniyat, arrogance, accumulates and takes full shape. No one can perform Haj with his own ability or strength. Allah is making you act. We can go to philanthropists in this world even to their dislike. But Allah is real Giver. No one can approach Him without His Wish. ‘I am doing Haj’. Get rid of this idea.
Allah has put His Tajalli (manifestation) on Kaba. People seeing Kaba can see Allah’s Presence. Allah’s manifestation is spread everywhere in the world. But in Kaba, it is special. A person will not get bored or dreary, however long he gazes at Kaba. People seeing Kaba will forget their companions. Mother will forget her child. Husband will forget his spouse. Kaba is a manifestation. Allah will appear in His full splendor in Akhirat, Hereafter. At that time, no one will get any thought about anyone else. Allah will appear in front of us. Surah Haj, 22, verse 2 – ‘yawma tarawnahaa tazhalu kullu marliyatin ammaa arla’at’. Nursing mother will forsake her child. Pregnant woman will cast her burden. Everyone will be overwhelmed and entranced. When Allah appears, gazes won’t swerve elsewhere. People will run away from siblings, mother, father, spouse, children, neighbors, friends and everyone else. Pilgrims intending to visit Kaba will not get distracted with anything else. Some relative may fall sick, some may go to deathbed, someone may get detained by police. But the pilgrim won’t be bothered by anything. He will be fixated in seeing God’s manifestation in Kaba. He won’t be distracted. Kaba is black in color. Those who have seen Allah’s Tajalli say it is black.
A nursing mother will feel pain if her infant does not suckle. ‘man hajja walam yazurni fakad jafaani’. Prophet says, ‘One who visited Kaba, and did not see me, has hurt me’. Prophet’s nature is to give. ‘rahmatalil alameen’. He does not take. Haj pilgrims should understand, realize Prophet’s stature and reality. Tawaaf (circumambulation) and staying in Arafat are two Farz (duties) in Haj. Splendor of Haj is indescribable.

Allah is with you wherever you are. He is with you above the earth and under the earth. Once a person enters grave, angels will ask, ‘man rabbuka’. ‘Who is your Lord?’. Allah is the Lord on the earth as well as inside the grave. A person will succeed if he gives right answer. ‘man nabiyyuka’. ‘Who is your Prophet?’. Prophet is with you everywhere. Allah is with you in each Aalam, world. He is with you in Aalame Arwah, Aalame Barzak, Aalame Shahadat. Haj pilgrims should have this in mind. Allah invites you and travels with you. He is with you in airport and inside the airplane. ‘wahuva bikulli shaiyin muhit’. Allah encompasses everything. It is impossible to leave Allah. Nothing can exist outside Allah. Plane and passenger, both are under Allah’s dominion. Allah is present with every object.
‘Hij’, ‘Haj’ means Irada, intention. Intending is your job. Allah will make it happen. Don’t think in self-centered lines. I am performing Haj, I have become better. Don’t belittle others. Some people are small Firauns (Pharaoh) before going to Haj and become complete Firaun once they complete Haj. Firauniyat, arrogance, accumulates and takes full shape. No one can perform Haj with his own ability or strength. Allah is making you act. We can go to philanthropists in this world even to their dislike. But Allah is real Giver. No one can approach Him without His Wish. ‘I am doing Haj’. Get rid of this idea.
Allah has put His Tajalli (manifestation) on Kaba. People seeing Kaba can see Allah’s Presence. Allah’s manifestation is spread everywhere in the world. But in Kaba, it is special. A person will not get bored or dreary, however long he gazes at Kaba. People seeing Kaba will forget their companions. Mother will forget her child. Husband will forget his spouse. Kaba is a manifestation. Allah will appear in His full splendor in Akhirat, Hereafter. At that time, no one will get any thought about anyone else. Allah will appear in front of us. Surah Haj, 22, verse 2 – ‘yawma tarawnahaa tazhalu kullu marliyatin ammaa arla’at’. Nursing mother will forsake her child. Pregnant woman will cast her burden. Everyone will be overwhelmed and entranced. When Allah appears, gazes won’t swerve elsewhere. People will run away from siblings, mother, father, spouse, children, neighbors, friends and everyone else. Pilgrims intending to visit Kaba will not get distracted with anything else. Some relative may fall sick, some may go to deathbed, someone may get detained by police. But the pilgrim won’t be bothered by anything. He will be fixated in seeing God’s manifestation in Kaba. He won’t be distracted. Kaba is black in color. Those who have seen Allah’s Tajalli say it is black.
A nursing mother will feel pain if her infant does not suckle. ‘man hajja walam yazurni fakad jafaani’. Prophet says, ‘One who visited Kaba, and did not see me, has hurt me’. Prophet’s nature is to give. ‘rahmatalil alameen’. He does not take. Haj pilgrims should understand, realize Prophet’s stature and reality. Tawaaf (circumambulation) and staying in Arafat are two Farz (duties) in Haj. Splendor of Haj is indescribable.

Drinking water problem in Tamilnadu is resonating as political issue. 13700 water resources are being managed by the government. But only 3474 of them have been recovered. Remaining are occupied. Tamilians have a fetish for encroaching on lakes, ponds, canals, streams and catchment areas. Tamilnadu receives adequate rainfall. A view from Anaikarai bridge near Kumbakonam during rainy days will make this evident. Water being washed away to sea can be understood. There is no effort for conservation. Vindictive politics of criticizing neighboring states of Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra and berating central government is brazenly carried out. In the 51 drought prone blocks, there are 338 rain-fed tanks that are not fully utilized.
Public welfare department has started showing interest in selling sand from 2.10.2003. Annual income is 188 crore rupees. Ten times this amount is spent for flood relief. 7 TMC can be saved by joining Agniyaru, Terku Vellaru, Pambaru, Kottaikaraiyaru, Vaigai and Gundaru. Only 5000 crore rupees is needed. Loss in a single day of strike or bandh is ten times. Trichy and Thiruvarangam face flood. 260 k.m canal is sufficient. Areas in Araniyaru, Vellaru, Muktaru, Maniyaru, Kosatalaiyaru, Pennaiyaru, Kedilam, Uppanaru, Paravanaru and Tenmalattaru come under flood year after year. Coalitions and alliances that came in between have given new shape to India. Narrow party politics, hunger for money and relations with international capitalists were prioritized causing the interest and wellbeing of Tamilians to be ignored. Good relation between state and central governments will help Tamilnadu to grow. Muslims should always bear just mentality. ‘laa taziru waaziratun vizra ukhra’. One person should not be punished for the mistake of another. Neutrality should not be lost while protesting.
Injustice has been meted out to Muslims. But it won’t justify burning even a single bus. It is public property. Burning it is a sin. It will create bad impression about Muslim community. We should be mindful whether our agitations are for God or for our emotional outburst. Our main objective is to introduce God’s message to entire humanity. A Jewish fighter spit on Ali (rali)’s face. Ali (rali) forgave him. Our Nafs, emotions, should not have any part even if the main cause is for God. Ali (rali) has set a very good example. We shall emulate it till Qiyamat.
We should have anger. But it should be against evil forces. Jealousy is good if it is to acquire knowledge. Hatred can be allowed only against basal urges. This Muslim person was happy about it and expressed his optimism that next disaster will be for America. His idea is that Allah is going via Haiti to America; a pathetic thought. He was thinking in the lines of monsoon movement. I inquired him about why he wishes for calamity in America. He said that America is against development in Muslim nations, it is crippling democracies in some nations and thrusting war on some other nations. He was talking like Allah has given administration of the world in America’s hands. I asked him about how many people in America are his enemies. There may be some Pentagon officers, bureaucrats, and few senators. Earthquake will be a disaster for everyone. Many innocents will die. It won’t exclude anyone. Americans have good life in this world and their life in the Hereafter looks painful. Your wish is that they should have a horrible life in this world too. In the thick of the battles, Sahabas used to seek his protection and come behind him. Prophet used to lead from the front. Faith gives strength and courage. But still he did not use his hands to stop evil.

They spend the rest of the life in prison. Evil should be stopped with hand. But prerequisite is that one who stops should not get destroyed. Films against Islam keep increasing. We have already answered all previous allegations. There is no need for new answers. Research work stopped after second world war. Satanic Verses was banned in India. But even after that it was sold brazenly. We don’t have follow-up mechanism. There are many books in India about 33 crore Gods. It is against our core principle. Muslims ignore it. This book has been translated in twenty five languages. It has been my wish for the past two years to bring this book in Urdu and Telugu. This is a constructive idea. News items that show Muslims, Islam, Quran and Prophet in bad light keep being telecast and published in media. This is not a new phenomenon. There was an attempt of intrusion in Quran. They are screening a film on Prophet. Salman Rushdie wrote a senseless, fallacious book Satanic Verses.
Surah Inshirah, 94, verse 4 – ‘rafahna laka zikrak’. ‘We raised your esteem high’. Even if the entire world comes together and struggles, Prophet’s glory cannot be brought down. Essence of those Books is preserved in Quran. Earlier Books have clear prophecy about Prophet Muhammad (sal). Our Ummat is referred as ‘Hammadun Ummat’, those who always praise God. This community will say ‘Alhamdulillah’ in all situations. Train your children to say ‘Alhamdulillah’. Illnesses come to us as expiation. No unbearable distress will befall us. Four things will be determined when a fetus has passed 120 days in mother’s womb – food for entire life, place of death, time of death and whether that person will go to heaven or hell.
